This bratwurst is made with 100% wild boar and Emmental cheese and smoked over beech wood. Juicy, crunchy and smoky. Delicious on the BBQ or just in the pan, on a sandwich, with a drink or a meal. In Austria, where the Käsekrainer is originally from, the sausages are first pricked on both sides before baking, so that the cheese runs out into the pan and then forms a crispy cheese crust around the sausage.
These sausages are already cooked and therefore only need to be fried on the BBQ or in the pan. Bake the sausages for 10-15 minutes, turning frequently until both sides are nicely browned.
